Kata is the backbone of Shotokan Karate — a structured sequence of techniques performed solo, encoding the principles of the Tsuruoka style. At Milton Karate, students progress through 10 core kata from yellow belt to 3rd Dan black belt, with each kata building on the one before it.

Foundational kata focusing on basic stances and strikes. Essential for developing proper form.
Taikyoku Shodan
